ORALE – Organized Resistance Against Latin Expulsion
ORALE is inspired by the common Spanish interjection “órale.”
This word, like the larger Latinx community, is multi-faceted and diverse. Different communities use and interpret the word in their own unique ways. But despite the differences, we all get the gist of it…
“Órale!” Right on! Let’s go!
ORALE, as an organization, is dedicated to bringing together the disparate Latinx communities as one. When we bring together our shared experiences, history, and culture – we are powerful. We are resolute. We are united.

The Heart of ORALE
Meet Our Founder
James Howse had never had the full view of his latinx ancestry, in fact it wasn't until his father passed that he began his search for his latinx roots. James was surprised to find that many Latinos in the US had grown up just like him – without knowledge of or appreciation for their cultural roots.
Now James is on a mission to elevate the Latino voice and highlight the accomplishments of the Latino community. He has a vision to bring together all Latinx people, establishing ORALE as the go-to source for Latino education and empowerment.
